Brittany Kelly

Brittany Kelly graduated from Mississippi College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. For the next 11 years, she taught math in the public school setting. The last 7 of those years was at Maui Waena Middle School. She also has 4 years of experience serving in Children’s Ministry leadership. She is currently working on her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at Gateway Seminary.

Brittany started homeschooling her oldest in the Spring of 2023 and is currently homeschooling her two older children. She has enjoyed the experience and is looking forward to an opportunity to come together with other families to elevate the homeschool experience.

What is our purpose?

Elevating the homeschool experience by bringing Christian homeschooling families together to learn, support, and build community.

What will be offered?

Each group will have 10 spots available.

Preschool Group for 3 and 4 yr olds
Kindergarten Group
Grade 1 Group
Grade 2 Group

*Daycare for babies – 2-year-olds will be provided for Elevation Leaders

How much is tuition?

Tuition is $1,000 per year, per child

Tuition can be paid by semester

After the first child, each additional child will receive 25% off their tuition. Discounts will be given to Elevation Leaders, Substitute teachers, and parents who commit to volunteer multiple days a week.

What does tuition cover?

3 days a week of co-op for 8-week quarters (32 weeks)
Administrative costs
Classroom supplies (including supplies for science experiences, learning games, and manipulatives)
End-of-year promotion ceremony
Optional end-of-year standardized assessment for reporting

What curriculum is being used?

*Families will be responsible for purchasing student books.

For the Preschool Group we will be using God’s Little Explorers. This curriculum builds the basics of learning on God’s Word. You can find more about it at:

What to Expect at Elevate Homeschool Christian Co-op

Learning Groups

Your child will be placed in a small learning group based on their age. Our groups will elevate the homeschool experience by providing opportunities for them to learn from peers through meaningful, instructional conversations. This will allow them to hear academic concepts discussed in ways they can easily connect with.

Games and Rec Time

Homeschool students are given the opportunity to learn sportsmanship skills and basic rec skills while playing enjoyable, age-appropriate games.

Parent Support Group

Brings parents together to support and pray for one another. Homeschooling and parenting are not for the faint of heart. Some weeks may be about sharing quick meal ideas while other weeks we may find ourselves sharing and encouraging each other in the day-to-day struggles.

Parent's Time Off

Parents can leave their enrolled child at co-op for at least one full day. In order to remain in compliance with state regulations, a parent will need to volunteer one day a week and attend a Parent Support Group another day each week.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to attend all three days?

No, but the parent will be responsible to cover the missed lessons from the days missed. Tuition will be the same to hold your child’s seat for any day he/she may come.

I’m not sure what level to place my child in, can I bump them up if I feel like he/she is ready?

Yes. One of the perks of homeschooling is making sure our children are learning on their level. If you as the parent believe they should be in a certain level we can put them there.

Can I pay per semester?

Yes. You will be asked when it is time to pay tuition, what your preference is. Payment must be received before the beginning of each semester.

Can we only attend only one semester?

Yes. We prefer to have a one year commitment, but understand if there are circumstances that prevent that.

The co-op has already started, can we still join?

Yes. Life happens and circumstances change. We exist to help support those life changes. Parents will be responsible to cover any lessons that were already covered.

Is there a discount for multiple children?

Yes. After the first child each additional child will receive 25% of their tuition.
